What is meard.org?
Meard.org is where to go when you are stuck for ideas on how to spend a few spare hours, days or weeks. Meard.org contains content and information on how people fill their time – from work to leisure and recreation.
Meard.org is a collaborative website that relies on contributions from users such as yourself. It is a community-based and interactive space that gives you the opportunity to help other people fill their leisure time by documenting and sharing on meard.org what you do when you have a few idle hours, days or weeks to fill!
Meard.org is still in early stages of development. To make meard.org a useful resource for everyone, please feel free to make a contribution to it by creating an article. Read on further for more information on how to create an article.
What does meard mean?
The word meard is a play on words of the French word merde. For an English translation, view the Google Translation of the French Wikipedia page on merde. "Merde" as the site name is a colloquial usage of its equivalent in English - to describe a collection of unrelated subject matter.
How to pronounce meard
Meard is pronounced like "beard" but with an "m" to closely resemble the French word "merde".
